FIELD TRIALS OFFICER
Full TimeNecessary qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture;
- Students from Faculty of Agriculture/Horticulture can apply for internships;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools;
- Good spoken and written English;
- Driving License;
Responsibilities:
- Managing agricultural field trials from start to finish, ensuring adherence to timelines and objectives.
- Identifying the suitable field, designing experimental trials, arranging the trials.
- Product applications and evaluations targeting diseases, pests, weeds, and other agronomic traits according to the experimental protocols.
- Input the data and records into a suitable computer software.
- Collaboration with study director and other company staff members.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company procedures throughout the field trials process.
- Collaboration with various farmers to find appropriate fields, orchards, vineyards, and greenhouses.
Additional qualifications (optional):
- Master’s or PhD in plant pathology, entomology, weed science, plant physiology, soil science.
- Experience in a Private Research Support Organization, Research Center or University.
- Experience managing field trial projects, including design, execution and data analysis.
- Knowledge of agricultural practices, plant production systems and plant protection.
